1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at salvone.com (the “Site”) and any services, tools, or content provided through the Site by Salvone Technology Solutions DMCC (“Salvone”, “we”, “us”).

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site. These Terms comply with:

3. Services and Website Use

3.1 Website purpose

The Site provides information about Salvone’s healthcare technology consultancy services, including health information systems, ERP solutions, workforce management, business intelligence, AI integration, and bespoke development.

3.2 No professional advice

Content on this Site, including our interactive tools and dashboard data, is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional medical, legal, regulatory, or compliance advice. You should consult qualified professionals before making decisions based on information obtained from the Site.

3.3 Service availability

We aim to keep the Site available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Site or any part of it at any time without notice for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons.

4. Interactive Tools

The Site offers interactive tools including a Compliance Checker, ROI Calculator, and Readiness Assessment. These tools are subject to the following terms:

  • Informational only — results are indicative estimates and do not constitute a professional assessment, audit, or certification of compliance with any regulatory framework
  • Client-side processing — your responses are processed in your browser only and are not transmitted to our servers or stored by us
  • No guarantee — compliance scores, ROI projections, and readiness ratings are based on self-reported information and may not reflect your actual regulatory status
  • Framework references — references to regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, CQC, HIS, Estyn, JCI, HIMSS, MoHAP, DHA) are for educational purposes. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any regulatory authority

5. AI Assistant

The Site includes an optional AI-powered assistant. By using this feature:

  • You acknowledge that responses are generated by third-party large language models and may contain inaccuracies
  • You agree not to input sensitive personal data, patient health records, or confidential business information into the assistant
  • Conversations are stored in your browser session only and are not retained by Salvone after the session ends
  • AI-generated content does not constitute professional advice and should be verified independently

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our content

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the compilation thereof — is the property of Salvone Technology Solutions DMCC or its licensors and is protected by:

  • UAE — Federal Law No. 38/2021 on Copyrights and Neighbouring Rights
  • UK — Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988

6.2 Permitted use

You may view, download, and print pages from the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not modify the content or remove any copyright or proprietary notices.

6.3 Third-party trademarks

Trademarks, logos, and service marks of third parties displayed on the Site (including but not limited to regulatory body logos) belong to their respective owners and are used solely for informational identification purposes. 8.1 Scope of limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Salvone shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profit, revenue, data, or business opportunity arising from your use of or inability to use the Site.

8.2 Statutory rights preserved

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence (UK Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977, Section 2; UAE Civil Transactions Law)
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 (Sections 57, 62, 65) or UAE Consumer Protection Law

8.3 Maximum liability

Where liability is not excluded, our total aggregate liability to you in connection with the Site shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) AED 1,000 / GBP 200.

9. Disclaimers

9.1 Website content

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that:

  • The Site will be available without interruption or error
  • Content is complete, accurate, or up to date
  • The Site is free from viruses or harmful components

9.2 Third-party content and APIs

The Site integrates data from third-party sources (including OpenFDA, Disease.sh, ClinicalTrials.gov, World Bank, and GNews). We do not control, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of third-party data. Dashboard metrics and news headlines are provided for informational purposes only.

10. Data Protection

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and UAE PDPL. By using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

11.1 Primary governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, including the federal laws applicable within the DMCC Free Zone.

11.2 UK consumer protection

If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, nothing in these Terms affects your mandatory statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, or other consumer protection legislation. Where there is a conflict between these Terms and your mandatory statutory rights, your statutory rights shall prevail (Consumer Rights Act 2015, Section 74).

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Informal resolution

We encourage you to contact us first at info@salvone.com to resolve any dispute informally before initiating formal proceedings.

12.2 Jurisdiction

Any dispute arising from these Terms that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE, except that:

  • UK consumers may bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence
  • Nothing prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in any competent court

12.3 Alternative dispute resolution

For UK consumers: we are not obliged to participate in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) through a consumer ombudsman, but we may choose to do so on a case-by-case basis. For information about ADR, visit the Citizens Advice website.

For UAE consumers: consumer complaints may be submitted to the Ministry of Economy Consumer Protection Department or the Dubai Economy and Tourism consumer rights section.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Site, other users, or our business.

Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, disclaimers, and governing law) shall continue in full force and effect.

14. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, power or internet failure, labour disputes, or third-party service disruptions. This is consistent with the principles of UAE Civil Transactions Law (Article 273) and English common law.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through a prominent notice on the Site. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Unilateral variations will be reasonable and made with appropriate notice, in accordance with UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, Section 62 (fairness requirement).

16. General Provisions

  • Entire agreement — these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Salvone regarding your use of the Site
  • Severability — if any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect
  • Waiver — failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision
  • Assignment — you may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction
  • Language — these Terms are provided in English. In the event of any conflict between the English version and a translation, the English version shall prevail
